Fast help needed to find fast-food thief

Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with the investigation of the theft of cash from a fast-food restaurant in Plainland on 19 August.

A man armed with a knife entered the business on Laidley-Plainland Road about 8.10pm and stole an amount of money from an unattended cash register.

The offender then left the scene on foot. No one was injured, and the man did not engage with staff or customers during the incident.

The man (pictured) is described as Caucasian and aged between 18 to 25 years.

Investigators are appealing for anyone with information about the identity of the man or has CCTV or dashcam footage along Laidley Plainland Road and Warrego Highway at Plainland between 7.45pm and 8:15pm to contact police.
