What’s Happening?

The Salvation Army has been a long-standing member of communities within Brisbane West and surrounding areas for many years. During that time, it has supported locals in many ways, including through its stores that provide access to quality second-hand goods at great prices.

On Thursday, October 9 at 9am, Salvos Stores Clifford Gardens officially opened its doors to the public. The new location brings a fresh energy to the Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre while continuing The Salvation Army’s mission to support the local community. The store will raise funds that go directly back into the area, helping to provide ongoing assistance to those in need.

Why It Matters

The new-look store will be well stocked with a wide variety of pre-loved clothing, accessories, homewares, new mattresses, and more to meet the community’s needs and revitalise the local circular economy.

Salvos Stores Area Manager Zac Nanscawen said, “We are very excited for the opening of the new Clifford Gardens Salvos Stores and are pleased to share that the store will be open six days a week. We look forward to welcoming our local community.”
