By Viewstock

Police have charged two people and are hunting a third after a robbery at Harlaxton on Sunday.

Police say that just after 10 pm Sunday, a woman went to the Gregory Street home of a 44-year-old man whom she knew.

Police allege the woman stole a set of keys while the 44-year-old man was distracted by a second woman knocking at the front door.

When the resident pursued the woman into the front yard, he was confronted by a man armed with a replica handgun, and a physical altercation broke out.

The three alleged offenders left the scene in a black SUV.

The 44-year-old Harlaxton man was taken to Toowoomba Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Following investigations by detectives from the Toowoomba Criminal Investigation Branch, a man and woman were located at separate Toowoomba addresses on 16 June and arrested.

A 50-year-old Rockville man has been charged with one count of robbery.

A 31-year-old Harlaxton woman has been charged with robbery and possessing dangerous drugs.

Police are searching for the second woman.
