OneSchool Global educator Kimberley Nolan has been named the 2026 Teacher Aide of the Year. Nolan is a Student Support Assistant at OneSchool Global’s Toowoomba campus in Middle Ridge. The award recognises her contribution to students with diverse learning needs and her wider role within the school community.
Her colleagues described her as a proactive educator who regularly goes beyond her role to support students and staff. The recognition was announced on Friday, September 4, 2026.
Why It Matters
Nolan’s work focuses on helping students overcome learning barriers while building their confidence and independence. Wendy Robinson, QLD Director of Learning Support at OneSchool Global Australia, praised Nolan’s approach and professionalism.
“Kimberley provides the highest quality teacher aide support through her deeply student-centred approach, outstanding professionalism and lasting impact on the students she works with.”
Her recognition also highlights the role learning support staff can play in helping students with diverse learning needs.
Local Impact
At OneSchool Global’s Toowoomba campus, Nolan supports both students and staff through resources and targeted classroom assistance. Campus Principal James Easthope said her contribution reaches across different areas of school life.
“Kimberley consistently goes above and beyond her role, providing exceptional support to both staff and students. She proactively develops and shares high-quality resources, offers targeted in-class assistance and plays a key role in creating a positive campus culture.”
Easthope also highlighted the impact of her work on individual students. “Kimberley has played a pivotal role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and recognise their own potential.”

Nolan’s award comes alongside recognition for other OneSchool Global learning support teams across Australia. The OneSchool Global Orange Campus Learning Support Team was named among the national Team of the Year nominees.
Meanwhile, the Melton OneSchool Campus Learning Support Team received a Highly Commended award. OneSchool Global said the results reflect the expertise across its learning support teams and their commitment to helping students thrive.
