Arrests Made in Violent Rangeville Robbery

In response to a violent robbery in Rangeville last January 6, two men aged 19 and 20 have been arrested.

A Series of Criminal Events

The incident involved a 28-year-old woman forced out of her blue Toyota Camry on Faith Street. The woman received minor injuries during the incident.

The stolen vehicle was later used in a break-in at a Browns Plains business on January 7.

On January 9, the car was in a crash on Mort Street, leading to the arrest of a 19-year-old Oakey man and a 16-year-old male who fled the scene.

Arrests and Charges

The 19-year-old faces charges including robbery with violence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and four counts of unlicensed driving.

He’s expected in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on January 10.

The 20-year-old, charged with robbery with violence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and three counts of stealing, will also appear in court on the same date.

The 16-year-old is being dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
