Supercars driver Cam Waters is set to tackle the NuTrend Homes Red Hot Summer Sprintcar Shootout in Toowoomba today.

After securing a satisfying fourth place in a highly competitive sprint car race at Warrnambool, Waters eyes the $30,000 prize at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway.

Fueled by confidence from his standout New Year’s Day performance, Waters is confident of another spectacular finish. 

Reflecting on his recent achievements, Waters expressed excitement about the upcoming high-speed challenge in Toowoomba, which he last attended as a spectator in the early 2000s. 

The stacked field includes six American contenders, with Aaron Reutzel, the 2020 World Series Sprintcars winner at Toowoomba, leading the international charge.

As the three-night event kicks off today, anticipation builds for a thrilling weekend of sprintcar action, featuring top-tier racers from both Australia and the United States.
