Celebrate spring in The Greenhouse at Grand Central

Grand Central - The Greenhouse

Spring has sprung at Grand Central with The Greenhouse popping up for family-friendly interactive workshops these school holidays.

From Saturday 14 September to Sunday 29 September, Grand Central is inviting you to a series of garden-themed workshops and information sessions the whole family will enjoy!

Marketing Executive Sara Kenealy said The Greenhouse would bring Grand Central to life.

“We are so excited to have different workshops across the holidays so Toowoomba kids can learn fun gardening skills,” she said.

“There are no bookings required and all activities are free; with the opportunity to learn how to plant a bee garden, make a mini worm farm or a bird feeder – there is something for everyone’s garden!

“We have expert-led workshops with Savour Soil which will show you how to set up your home garden, give you seasonal growing tips and share information about different soil types. And for all those who love bugs, we have Bugs Ed joining us too to teach us all about interesting insects, their habits, survival instincts, quirky movements and more.”

On Friday 20 September an early morning sensory session will be held, so those with sensory needs can enjoy the area with less noise, less people and lower lighting.

Join The Greenhouse fun in Centre Court on Level 1, near Smiggle from 10am – 2pm, daily.
