Exhibitors exhibit FarmFest frenzy

FarmFest is still four months away, but organisers say they have already filled more than half of the expected 700-plus spots for exhibitors.

Elders FarmFest, which is set to be held at Kingsthorpe Park, Toowoomba, from June 2 to June 4, is regarded as Queensland’s biggest primary industry event.

Each year, FarmFest features the latest in technology, livestock, land management and machinery for those working on the land. For many, it is a must-attend event for people from as far away as New South Wales and Central Queensland.

The organisers released applications for exhibitors for the 2026 event in November, and they have already received more than 500 applications. Of those, more than 70 of the applications are new exhibitors.

The organisers say more than 50 per cent of the exhibition space at the site has now been allocated.

Meanwhile, the University of New England has come on board in 2026 to be the event’s inaugural education partner for 2026.

“University of New England is excited to announce this partnership as we are committed to preparing and supporting individuals, communities, and research partners to deliver regional and rural success both in Australia and around the world.” Bryn Griffiths, Director of Future Students and Engagement, said.

“Our Alumni are the regional leaders across our country and globally, and we continue to be proud of the graduates we produce who choose to live and work in, and contribute to the social and economic sustainability of Regional Australia.

“We look forward to connecting with them, our existing students and future students at FarmFest 2026”.
