What’s Happening?
Hooper Centre Shopping Village has introduced a new brand identity before ALDI opens at the Toowoomba shopping centre.
The long-standing Hooper Centre name will remain, preserving its connection with the founding Hooper family. The refreshed logo uses soft jewel tones inspired by Toowoomba’s native floral emblem, the violet.
The identity will appear on in-centre signage and across the centre’s digital and social media channels.
Why It Matters?
The rebrand marks a significant change for one of Toowoomba’s long-standing shopping destinations. It also retains the history and name that residents already associate with the centre.
Hadley Green Investment Group says the update reflects new beginnings linked to ALDI’s arrival. The centre will maintain its focus on convenience, value and quality products for customers.
Local Impact
Customers will see the updated identity throughout the centre as ALDI prepares to open. The shopping village remains at the prominent intersection of Hume and King streets in Toowoomba.
It continues to bring local and national retailers together at one convenient location.

By the Numbers
- Hooper Centre has served Toowoomba for almost 50 years, retaining its link to the founding Hooper family.
- Customers can shop across 20 local and national retailers at the Hume and King streets location.
- The centre offers two hours of free, on-grade parking for customers.
Zoom In
Hadley Green Investment Group Executive Director Hugh Zochling said the rebrand respected the centre’s history and community ties.
“We are proud of Hooper Centre’s rich history and the place it holds within the Toowoomba community,” Mr Zochling said. “The centre’s rebrand honours that legacy while embracing an exciting new chapter with the arrival of ALDI.
“We look forward with optimism to continuing to grow alongside the community that has supported the Hooper Centre and its traders for so many years.”
Zoom Out
Keeping the Hooper name avoids a complete break from the centre’s established role in the city. Meanwhile, the violet-inspired palette gives the identity a direct connection to Toowoomba.
The rebrand brings the incoming ALDI store and existing traders under one updated visual style.
