What’s Happening?

Hearing loss can affect far more than the ability to hear clearly. It can change how people join conversations, take part in family life, feel in social settings and manage daily routines.

Neurosensory is offering professional hearing care through two Toowoomba clinics, located at Medici Medical Centre and St Andrews Private Hospital. The service includes hearing tests, hearing aids, tinnitus support, cochlear implant support and hearing accessories.

The local team is led by Dylan, an experienced audiologist specialising in cochlear implants, adult fittings and paediatric care. He is supported by Jess, Neurosensory Toowoomba’s welcoming customer care representative.

Its audiologists also provide dizziness and balance testing, ear protection, and support for workplace, WorkCover and medico-legal matters. Appointments can be made by calling 1300 965 513.

Why It Matters?

Hearing concerns can start quietly, but their impact can grow over time. A person may miss words during dinner, avoid noisy places, struggle on phone calls or feel less confident in group settings.

For children, hearing can affect speech, school learning and development. For adults, it can shape work, relationships, independence and quality of life.

Neurosensory’s care model brings audiologists together with Ear, Nose and Throat specialists. This gives clients access to hearing care backed by wider medical experience.

The company says it only employs highly qualified hearing health professionals who work closely with ENT surgeons. Its clinicians also follow the Code of Conduct of Audiology Australia and the Australian College of Audiology.

By The Numbers

  • Among Australians aged 50 and over with hearing loss, 43 per cent say it reduces their quality of life.
  • The same study found 30 per cent say hearing loss changes their family interactions.
  • It also found 27 per cent avoid social occasions, showing how hearing loss can affect connection and confidence.

Local Impact

Neurosensory says it is proud to be part of the local community, offering friendly, professional hearing care across two convenient Toowoomba locations.

The Medici clinic is located at Medici Medical Centre, Suite 107, Level 1, 15 Scott Street, Toowoomba. The centre sits on the corner of Curzon and Scott Street, opposite St Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Visitors can enter through the main entrance and take the lift to Level 1. After exiting the lift, turn left and continue along to the suite. Paid undercover parking is available at the hospital, with prices starting from $6. The car park entrance is off Scott Street. Free street parking is also available, but visitors should allow extra time to find a space.

The St Andrews clinic is located at St Andrews Private Hospital, Suite 32, Building 4, 280 North Street, Toowoomba. The entrance is off Holberton Street, Entrance 3, with Building 4, Cancer Care, visible from the entrance driveway and car park.

Visitors can enter Building 4 and take the lift to Level 1. From there, go straight ahead down the small ramp or stairs and follow the signage to Suite 32. Free onsite parking is available.
