Toowoomba residents can now make a positive impact on local state schools through Grand Central’s Shop for Your School campaign.
This initiative offers over $23,000 in cash prizes to participating schools and encourages shoppers to register their spending for points that convert into school donations.
This is a simple and effective way to support the local education system while completing your everyday shopping.
How It Works
From May 1 to June 9, spend at participating stores within Grand Central, then register your receipts online. Each dollar spent translates to one point for your chosen state school.
The schools with the highest points pro rata will receive cash prizes: $10,000 for first place, $5,000 for second, $3,000 for third, $2,000 for fourth, and $1,000 for fifth.
Eight local schools are vying for the top spot, including Darling Heights State School, Drayton State School, and Harristown State School, among others. Your purchases can help any of these schools receive much-needed funding for essential resources.
