Police have charged a 16-year-old boy with 10 offences after an alleged robbery in Wilsonton on Monday.
Two males approached a woman as she was getting into her vehicle at a shopping centre carpark on Bridge Street and the 85-year-old woman was pulled from her vehicle before the two males fled the scene in her white Honda HR-V.
The woman was transported to hospital with a minor head injury and a graze to her left arm.
The vehicle was later located abandoned in Cherbourg.
Following investigations by detectives from Toowoomba’s Criminal Investigation Branch, a 16-year-old Rockville boy was located and arrested.
He has been charged with ten offences including two counts each of enter dwelling and commit and unlawful use of a motor vehicle, three counts of enter premises and commit, and one count each of stealing, armed robbery, and enter premises with intent.
