A trip to the Gold Coast for two young Toowoomba men has ended badly with both ending up in hospital after being stabbed.
Police subsequently charged two teenagers following the alleged wounding in Surfers Paradise on Saturday, October 5.
Emergency services raced to Remembrance Drive, Surfers Paradise about 6.15am after they received reports a 20-year-old man had sustained a wound to the stomach.
Upon arrival, police found two 20-year-old Toowoomba men, who both had stab wounds.
Both were transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment, where one remains in a serious but stable condition.
A 17-year-old Richlands male and 16-year-old Pallara male have been charged with one count each of acts intending to disable.
Investigations are continuing with police urging witnesses or anyone with relevant information to come forward.
