Tragic Traffic Collision Claims Lives in Toowoomba

Toowoomba. Jan 26 – In a devastating incident yesterday at Wellcamp, a fatal traffic crash involving three vehicles has left a community in mourning. 

Toowoomba Traffic Accident Details

Preliminary inquiries show that at approximately 5:05 pm, a westbound blue Kia sedan collided with a Hyundai Getz and a Holden Captiva, both travelling in the eastward direction along Toowoomba Cecil Plains Road.

The collision occurred near the intersection with Acton Vale Stud Road, and the consequences were severe.

The 62-year-old driver and sole occupant of the Hyundai Getz, a resident of Glenvale, tragically lost his life at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Captiva sustained shoulder injuries and was promptly transported to Toowoomba Hospital for medical attention.

The Kia’s driver, while seemingly unharmed, was also taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
