What’s Happening?
Civic Assist’s Winter Warmth Appeal is back this May. Grand Central will host a donation point on Level One near Myer from Wednesday 14 May to Saturday 17 May 2025, inviting locals to donate warm winter clothing and blankets to help those in need.
Why It Matters
Winter in Toowoomba can be harsh, especially for families and individuals doing it tough. This appeal offers much-needed comfort through community-driven generosity.
Local Impact
Grand Central continues to support Civic Assist’s mission by making it easy for shoppers to contribute. “We invite the community to deliver quality pre-loved and new winter clothing and bedding,” said Grand Central’s Community Relations Manager Georgina Bayly. “Bring in a large bag of goods and as a little thanks, the first 50 people to do so will receive a $20 Gift Card to spend in Grand Central.”
