Police are seeking public help to identify a man who attacked a 59-year-old woman at East Toowoomba on Friday, July 4.
Around 9.30pm the woman was walking along Kitchener Street near the Jolly Swagman caravan park when she was approached from behind by a man who attacked her. The woman fell to the ground during the attack before her assailant fled on foot.
The woman received minor injuries to her face.
Police are asking for help to identify the man who is described as having a dark complexion, with thinning brown hair and rats tails on his forehead. He was wearing a dark coloured jumper and dark blue jeans.
The woman was wearing grey trackpants, a pink coloured hooded top and gloves, and green and blue shoes.
Police are appealing for anyone who recognises the man or has footage from near Kitchener Street and Harold Lane between 9:30pm to 9:50pm on 4 July to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
